WOODLANDS PATROL
The Woodlands Patrol is for boys K through 5th Grade (Ages 5-10). The boys will gain knowledge about outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship and faith through activities at the weekly meetings. These young Trailmen engage in hands-on experiences that develop character, deepen faith, and hone practical skills in the seven program branches (Outdoor Skills, Life Skills, Heritage, Hobbies, Values, Science & Technology, and Sports & Fitness). The Woodlands Patrol is broken down in to three different Patrols, the Foxes, Hawks, and Mountain Lions according to their grade level and age.
- Foxes (K-1st Grade)
- Hawks (2nd - 3rd Grade)
- Mountain Lions (4th - 5th Grade)
NAVIGATORS PATROL
The Navigators Patrol is for boys 6th grade through 8th grade (Ages 11-13). In Trail Life USA, skills universally needed for godly manhood are developed through required Trail Badges as boys earn the ranks of Recruit, Able, and Ready Awards. Elective Trail Badges help a Trailman explore unique areas of gifting and come to understand the way God has specially created him.
The nine Trail Badges are Aquatics, Camping, Fire Ranger, First Aid, Our Flag, Outdoor Cooking, Ropework, Trail Skills, and Woods Tools.
ADVENTURERS PATROL
The Adventurers Patrol is for young men 9th grade through 12th grade (Ages 14-18). In Trail Life USA, skills universally needed for godly manhood are developed through required Trail Badges as young men earn the ranks of Journey, Horizon, and Freedom Awards. Elective Trail Badges help a Trailman explore unique areas of gifting and come to understand the way God has specially created him.
The nine Trail Badges are Citizenship, Cycling, Emergency Preparedness, Family Man, Fitness, Hiking, Outdoor Life, Personal Resources, and Swimming.
